Water based fire resistant one component paint for SPF foam - grey
Patrix is made of a glass fiber carrier which provides mechanical resistance and dimensional stability even at high temperatures, and of a special coating which expands in contact with flames, suppresses fire and creates a barrier layer which keeps the flames away from the insulating foam, so that the development of fire towards the core of the panel gets slower.
It is a facer suitable as the upper face of panels insulating pitched vented and micro-vented roofs and walls. It is highly recommended for its specific properties: it is able to bring synthetic insulation boards into fire reaction class Bs1d0. The particular fireproof surface finish allows the product to be laid in coverage directly under the photovoltaic panels or in ventilated façades with open joints.
