ASCO 3 is the talc version, available in ca 400 g/m2; thanks to its innovative formulations it shows a flame retardant behaviour. The enhanced weight allows to use an higher foam expansion pressure, avoiding at the same time any passage of the foam itself throughout the pinholes.
It is a facer suitable mainly for Polyurethane panels meant for pitched and flat roofs thermal insulation; the so-made panel is the suitable facer for torch-on membrane application, thanks to its resistance to torching and high dimensional stability of the carrier. This facer is mainly used in panels insulating roofs subject to possible surveys, flat walkable roofs, roofs destined to parking areas and roof gardens.
